English

Our primary school teachers focus on the development of students' ability to read, write and speak. Our courses build a solid foundation of students' vocabulary and spelling, sentence construction, texts types, grammar and punctuation, and so much more! The earlier stages are so important to get right in order for students successfully progress into their high school years, and we take this very seriously. Our primary school Teachers work closely with our high school English teachers to ensure that the teaching material is relevant and helpful for long term learning in English. 

Maths

Our maths teachers work hard in ensuring that all students build and sustain an interest in the learning of mathematics. We realise that many students find mathematical concepts hard to grasp, and without a good teacher to make mathematics enjoyable and easy to comprehend, students lose the necessary commitment to mathematics. Our maths classes regularly work ahead of the level taught at school, and students build the necessary skills to equip them for high school. All students develop a strong foundation in patterns and algebra, arithmetic, geometry, problem solving and logical reasoning and so much more!

HIGH SCHOOL TUITION

English 

Our students will typically study well known texts that they will encounter in school, and the texts we teach always change according to student needs and levels. More importantly, all English classes have a focus on building the necessary skills for successful, long term learning in English. The skills we focus on include competence in essay writing, developing high level textual analysis skills, and how to critically evaluate all materials. These skills are fostered through writing, speaking and listening tasks, which form the backbone for English learning. 

Maths

Our classes learn the necessary skills involved in successful mathematics learning. We pay close attention to how students logically progress to their answers, and ensure that they understand the marking requirements well. By studying our courses in Years 7-10, students are able to develop a strong foundation in areas that become the centre of successful mathematics learning in the senior years and beyond. These areas typically involve algebra and arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry and calculus. We also believe that most students in senior years find application and problem solving questions the most difficult, and therefore all classes in Years 7-10 are exposed to a range of more difficult application questions in all topics they study.
